Sharron Williams died on the 15th of March, 2022. Born on November 11, 1982, to Floyd Williams and Abigail Evans Williams (deceased) and was proud to be a native from Miami. Dance training began with the New World School of the Arts and she was a graduate of the in high school. During her time at New World, she received a number of scholarships for the Alvin Ailey summer school and eventually was invited to join the second company, Ailey II. In the following year, at Florida State University she received the Bachelor of Applied Economics as well as an additional Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinar Social Sciences. It was then that she realized that her artistic skills, talent and interests were more than dance and so she began studying acting with James Brill at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater. She's worked on television and film projects such as HBO's Lovecraft Country and Vinyl, Netflix Original series The Get Down and Scary Movie 5 Cinderella has been her lead character for the Little Orchestra society production of Cinderella that was staged at Lincoln Center. In the past, she was a part of Broadway's company and toured the US as part of the Disney film The Lion King.
