Ruth Wilson

Ruth Wilson is a two-time Olivier Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner. She has made her Broadway debut in Nick Payne's Constellations with Jake Gyllenhaal. The most famous of her roles is her character Alison Lockhart in the Showtime series "The Affair" (Golden Globe Award). The Little Stranger and Dark River are among her film credits. She was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress for Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre. Wilson played in the BBC miniseries "Luther," nominated for 8 Emmy Awards. The BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre," she was nominated by BAFTAs and Golden Globes for Best Lead actor. In 2007 she made her London debut with Maxim Gorky's Philistines in The National Theatre.
