Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born 24 April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. As of 2002, she was the winner of her first American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas), which is a suburb located of Fort Worth. Her vocal talent was recognized at seven years of age by the teacher who taught choir at the school she attended. Clarkson left high school to relocate towards Los Angeles where she failed to get a job in the entertainment industry. Returning in Texas in 2002, she competed on the FOX Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing competition gave viewers the chance to choose their top performer. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's arresting voice, charisma, and humour. She won $1million and a recording deal with RCA.
