Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez was born September 9th on the 9th of September, 1965. She is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) as well as Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the film Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently on Camila Diaz, the character from the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie began her acting career during her teens. Salsa 1988, was her debut film. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City, and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role as Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, Marie starred in the comedy-drama film Tortilla Soup alongside Hector Elizondo, Jacqueline Obradors, and Elizabeth Pena. Marie also appeared on the PBS drama American Family. Her own clothing line, "The Constance Marie collection" was released in October 2007. [2] She was also the subject of an advertisement from PETA encouraging people to spay/neuter pets. 3. Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters, Regina Vasquez. She starred in the drama series ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 to 2017.
